Lim Soo-jung Says Romantic Roles Don't Get Easier with Time

Actress Lim Soo-jung is set to show her romantic chemistry with actor Lee Dong-wook in the upcoming film "Single in Seoul," but says she still doesn't find romantic roles easy, even after many years in the job.

She shared her thoughts about starring in the latest romantic comedy in a press preview in Seoul early this week.

"Appearing in romantic films is still special for me. While romantic films are easy to watch and approachable for viewers, acting in them is quite challenging, as it requires showing the reality of life and expressing its psychological subtleties," Lim said.

"I'm happy to be part of such a heartwarming movie. I tried to relax when acting. The script naturally conveyed the character's charm, making it enjoyable to act as I could express it without trying to do too much."

"Single in Seoul" tells the story of a man who prefers being single and a woman who doesn't want to remain alone, who team up to publish a book.

The film, also starring Esom, Jang Hyun-sung, Kim Ji-young and Lee Mi-do, is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 29.
