Korean conceptual artist Yang Hae-gue was included in this year's list of the top 100 artist in the world selected by German business magazine Capital.
Yang, who is known for the subtle use of everyday objects in her installations and divides her time between Seoul and Berlin, ranked 93rd on the list published in the November issue.
First place went to German painter Gerhard Richter.
Among Asians, China's Ai Weiwei ranked 33rd, Japan's Yoko Ono 47th, and Hiroshi Sugimoto 89th.
In the ranking for dead artists, Nam June Paik rose from 15th place last year to 14th, and on a list of 100 aspiring artists, Korean installation artist Lee Mi-rae secured fifth place.
