Seoul's annual International Fireworks Festival will light up the skies over the Han River Park in Yeouido on Saturday.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, roads from the Mapo Bridge to the festival site in front of the 63 Building near Yeouinaru subway station will be blocked from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. and all 20 bus routes passing through the area take detours.
Subway Line Nos. 5 and 9 will be operating 58 more trains from 5 p.m., when spectators start to gather before the official start at 7 p.m. After the festival ends, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., subway trains will pass without stopping.
Some 277 safety personnel will be dispatched to subway stations nearby.
