Fencer Yoon Ji-su claimed gold in the women's individual sabre at the Asian Games in Hangzhou on Tuesday.
She defeated Shao Yaqi of China 15-10 in the final, winning the country's third gold medal in fencing after Choi In-jeong in the women's individual épée and Oh Sang-uk in the men's individual sabre.
Yoon, the daughter of former Lotte Giants pitcher Yoon Hak-gil, won two Asiad gold medals in the team event in 2014 and 2018 and one bronze medal in the team event at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021.
"I think I inherited my sports ability and strong mentality from my father," Yoon said. "I have come this far thanks to the support of my teammates."
