V of Bangtan Boys Debuts on Billboard 200 with Solo Album 'Layover'

V of Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, debuted at No. 2 on this week's Billboard 200 albums chart released on Sunday with his first solo album "Layover." The album was released on Sept. 8.

V now shares the record for the highest position on the chart for a Korean solo singer with his bandmates Ji-min and Suga.

"V sees his first solo studio album, 'Layover,' launch at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, earning 100,000 equivalent album units in its first week," with 88,000 physical album sales, Billboard said.
