Per-Capita National Debt Doubles over Past Decade

Korea's national debt has more than doubled over the last decade to reach approximately W22 million for every single Korean (US$1=W1,326).

According to Statistics Korea Sunday, per-capita national debt will reach W21.89 million at the end of this year, or W1.13 quadrillion divided by a projected population of 51.56 million. That is 2.3 times the W9.71 million in 2013.
