Ex-President Moon Jae-in and other senior figures have asked opposition leader Lee Jae-myung to end his hunger strike against the Yoon Suk-yeol administration.
Ruling People Power Party leader Kim Gi-hyeon said on Thursday that Lee's health is getting worse and "respectfully" asked him to end the stunt, which has been going on for 10 days.
On Wednesday, Lee was visited in his office at the National Assembly by former presidential chief of staff Noh Young-min, who said Moon was very worried about him as asked him to end his hunger strike.

But Minjoo Party spokeswoman Lee So-young said while Lee was aware of these concerns, including advice from doctors, he is determined to continue.
Lee, who faces trial for corruption in a land development scandal dating back to the time when he was mayor of Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, has laid out a smorgasbord of demands he wants to force by starving himself.
