Blackpink to Wrap up World Tour with Concerts in Seoul Next Month

Girl group Blackpink will wrap up their ongoing world tour with finale concerts in Seoul next month.

Their management agency YG Entertainment said Wednesday the concerts will be held here on Sept. 16 and 17, and venues are soon to be decided.

The girls embarked on their world tour with a concert in Seoul last October and recently began the U.S. leg of the tour, starting with a concert in New Jersey last week.

The quartet will perform in Las Vegas later this week, followed by concerts in San Francisco and Los Angeles next week.

While performing in about 40 cities worldwide over nearly a year, they have met more than 1.5 million global fans so far.

The finale of the tour, slated for Sept. 17, will be live-streamed online for those who are unable to watch the concert in person.

"We are glad to wrap up the tour where it started and meet fans here again," the agency said.
