Director Kim Jee-woon's "Cobweb" is set for release in Korea next month after being premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
The black comedy will hit screens in time for Chuseok, the country's biggest holiday.
Set in the 1970s, "Cobweb" was filmed in black and white and deals with a story of a director who becomes convinced that his film needs re-shooting.
It remains to be seen if the much-anticipated film, with its star-studded cast including Lim Soo-jung, Krystal, Oh Jung-se and Song Kang-ho, can blow up the Korean box office this fall, one of the biggest holiday seasons of the year.
