V of Bangtan Boys to Release Debut Solo Album Next Month

V of Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, will release his first solo album, "Layover," next month, the band's management agency Big Hit Music said Tuesday.

The album will consist of six tracks, including one bonus track. The lead-off song is "Slow Dancing," a '70s-style, romantic soul track with a laid-back, free-spirited feel.

Five music videos will also be released, while the bonus track is an instrumental version of "Slow Dancing" played on piano.

V is the last member of BTS to release a solo album. He worked on the project with ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, the producer of girl band NewJeans.

The album will be released on Sept. 8.
