Ko Jin-young is no longer the top-ranked female golfer in the world after a record 163 weeks in the lead.
In the latest rankings released on Monday, Ko (28) slipped to second place behind Nelly Korda of the U.S.
In late June, Ko set a new record for the most weeks spent at No. 1 with 159 weeks since April 2019 and stayed at the top for four more weeks since.
But at the Amundi Evian Championship, a major LPGA event in France last weekend, Korda tied for ninth and Ko for 20th, losing her top position to her American rival.
