Korean defender Kim Min-jae has joined Bayern Munich in Germany's Bundesliga from Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli in Italy's Serie A.
Bayern announced on Tuesday that the club signed Kim to a five-year contract until 2028. He will wear No. 3.
The exact terms of the deal were not revealed, but multiple sources said Kim will receive an annual salary of 12 million euros.
Kim said, "Joining Bayern Munich is every football player's dream. I am excited about what lies ahead. This is a new beginning for me and I will work harder to be a better player."
He added that his first goal at Bayern Munich is to play as many games as possible and win as many trophies as possible.
