Koreans Look Forward to More Days Off Next Year

    Koreans with a five-day workweek will get a total of 119 days off next year including weekends and holidays, two more than this year.
    Next year is a leap year with 366 days and Koreans will enjoy 68 public holidays, the same as this year, the Ministry of Science and ICT said Thursday.
    Lunar New Year's Day (Feb. 11) and Children's Day (May 5) fall on a Sunday but are made up the following Monday.
    Next year's holidays also include general election day on April 10.
    There will be a total of five long weekends spanning three or more days.
