Wednesday evening's launch of Korea's homegrown space rocket Nuri was called off due to a technical glitch just about two hours before liftoff and has been rescheduled for Thursday.
Technicians discovered a communications problem between the launch control computer and the launch pad computer that regulates the cryogenic helium supply.
The problem was found at around 4 p.m., right before the injection of fuel for the launch scheduled for 6:24 p.m. was due to begin.

The Korea Aerospace Research Institute left the rocket on the launch pad and engineers fixed the problem overnight, so the liftoff has been rescheduled for the same time on Thursday evening.
The rocket will send eight satellites into orbit.
