Ko Jin-young reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the latest women's world golf rankings released on Monday for the first time in seven months.
She took the top spot with 8.26 points, pushing Nelly Korda of the U.S. into second place by only 0.01 point.
With her victory at the Cognizant Founders Cup on May 14, Ko has amassed 15 career wins on the LPGA Tour.
After losing the top spot in October last year she fell to No. 5 as she suffered a wrist injury. This is the fifth time she has claimed the No. 1 position.
Ko first reached the top in April 2019 and stayed there for 146 weeks, the second-longest run at No. 1 after Lorena Ochoa of Mexico, who hogged it for 158 straight weeks until she retired from the sport in May 2010.
