Blackpink Highest-Grossing Female Touring Band in the World

Girl group Blackpink have become the highest-grossing female touring act of all time.

U.S. data aggregator Touring Data said last Friday that the quartet earned a whopping US$78.49 million from 26 concerts on their ongoing world tour, attracting some 366,248 fans. 

This is more than the amount the legendary U.K. girl band Spice Girls made from 11 concerts from their world tour in 2019, which stood at $78.20 million.

Blackpink embarked on their tour in Seoul last October to promote their second full-length album "Born Pink." With 15 more concerts left until June, the girls are expected to earn more than $200 million in total from ticket sales.
