The annual Jeonju International Film Festival is set to kick off this week.
The festival, which mostly features independent and experimental films, opens with the screening of "Tori and Lokita" in the historic city of Jeonju, North Jeolla Province on Thursday.
Directed by Belgian brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, the heart-wrenching drama tells a story of two African immigrants in a Belgian city.
The Belgian filmmaking duo will visit Korea for the first time to meet fans during the festival.
The festival, now in its 24th year, will wrap up with Korean film "Where Would You Like to Go?" on May 6, after showcasing some 247 films from 42 countries during its 10-day run.
