Hwang Hee-chan to Miss Friendlies Due to Another Injury

Hwang Hee-chan of Wolverhampton Wanderers has sustained another injury, ruling him out of Korea's upcoming friendly matches this month.

Hwang was sidelined with an unspecified injury in a home match against Leeds United last Saturday. He had only returned to the team about a week earlier after being out with an injury.

At a press conference ahead of the match, manager Julen Lopetegui said, "Unfortunately, we have an injury with [Hwang] but the rest are more or less ready. We have a little bit of a problem with another player, but we have to wait until tomorrow or until tonight to have more information, but it's clear that [Hwang] is out."

It is not known how serious Hwang's injury is, but he will be sidelined for a while again. Korea, under new coach Jürgen Klinsmann, will play friendlies against Colombia in Ulsan on Friday and Uruguay in Seoul on March 28.
