The second part of Netflix's hit Korean series "The Glory" topped the streaming giant's viewership chart for non-English TV series on Monday, just three days after its release last week.
According to FlixPatrol, which provides streaming rankings worldwide, the series debuted at No. 3 on the chart on March 10 and climbed one spot the following day.
The limited series starring Song Hye-kyo tells the story of a woman who comes up with a decades-long plan to take vengeance on her former high-school classmates for brutally bullying her.
The first part comprising eight episodes released in late December was an instant hit, and the second part with another eight episodes has proved popular as well.
It shot to the top in some 38 countries around the world, including Brazil, Hong Kong, Japan and Mexico, and made it into the top 10 in nearly 90 countries.
Meanwhile, the number of viewers on Netflix soared to around 4.75 million here on the day of the series' release, up about 55 percent from the previous day and 84 percent from a week earlier, likely reflecting the huge interest in the series.
