Some 137 people have been indicted for draft dodging so far this year and are to stand trial.
The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office said Monday that 67 were indicted this month on charges of evading their mandatory military service by feigning epilepsy or depression.
Those indicted include celebrities like rappers Ravi and Nafla as well as brokers, lawyers and public servants charged with abetting them.
Some 109 young men stand accused of avoiding the draft and the rest for helping the suspects.
The accused include professional volleyball players, footballers and other professional athletes in golf, badminton, horseback riding and track and field.
Forty-nine including Ravi colluded with brokers specializing in these things to feign epilepsy to avoid the draft. Nafla pretended to suffer from depression to cut short his alternative military duties at Seocho district office.
Investigators said they froze W1.61 billion that brokers received in fees for helping the men avoid or shorten their military service (US$1=W1,302).
