Son Heung-min on Saturday scored his 99th goal for Tottenham Hotspur since joining the English Premier League team in 2015.
Son started Spurs' home match against Nottingham Forest in London and, with his team leading 2-0, netted a left-footed shot off a pass from Richarlison in the 62nd minute to score his sixth goal of the season.
Spurs' fans gave him a standing ovation when he was substituted for Lucas Moura in the 84th minute.

Son has scored 99 goals and posted 49 assists in 257 appearances for Spurs, leaving him one goal short of a major EPL milestone. Only 33 players have scored 100 goals in the league's history, and Son will be the first Asian player to do so if he adds one more goal.
With 10 goals overall so far in the season, including two each in the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League, Son has reached double-digit goals for the seventh straight season.
He has now scored the second-most goals for his club this season, after Harry Kane with 22.
