Kia on Thursday teased its new large SUV, the EV9, which is scheduled to hit showrooms here later this month.
It is Kia's second model manufactured under its own platform, dubbed E-GMP, which is solely dedicated to electric vehicles, following the EV6 released last year.
A teaser image shows an angular silhouette of the SUV along with pixel headlamps. The carmaker had already revealed the concept version of the SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show in California in 2021, boasting that it could travel up to 482 km on a single charge and take just 30 minutes to be almost fully charged.
The spacious SUV comes with various convenience features with a price tag of around W70 million (US$1=W1,316).
More detailed specifications including the interiors of the car are expected to be available in the coming weeks.
