Girl group NewJeans' album "OMG" ranked at No. 89 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart released this week, staying in the chart for more than a month since its release in early January.
The rookie band, consisting of five teenagers, who debuted just seven months ago, achieved the feat without having any promotional activities in the U.S.
After their debut in July last year, they instantly shot to stardom, with their songs including "Hype Boy" and "Ditto" sweeping various Korean music-streaming charts including Melon.
