Toyota unveiled its RAV4 plug-in hybrid at a press event in Seoul on Tuesday.
The new midsize SUV's 18.1-kWh battery allows it to travel up to 63 km on a single charge.
Its 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine gives the vehicle a 306-horsepower boost with a fuel efficiency of 15.6 km per liter.
The Japanese automaker plans to roll out more hybrid vehicles in Korea this year, including the Crown crossover sedan, Alphard large minivan and Highlander large SUV.
