Son Heung-min Scores 5th Goal of Season After 5-Match Goal Drought

Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur scored a goal in a home match against West Ham United in London on Sunday, ending his goal drought in the English Premier League.

It was Son's first EPL goal in six matches since he scored against Crystal Palace early last month.

After a goalless first half, Tottenham took the lead when Emerson Royal scored in the 56th minute. With Spurs looking to seal the win, Son came off the bench as a substitute in the 68th minute and netted a right-footed shot off a pass from Harry Kane four minutes later, helping his team secure a 2-0 victory.

It was his fifth goal of the season and 98th since joining Tottenham in 2015.

He has now scored the second-most league goals in the club's history, after Kane with 196.
