COVID Vaccinations Begin for Infants

COVID vaccinations for infants aged 6 months to 4 years began on Monday.

According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Pfizer vaccines made specifically for children are being administered to this group. The agency is also calling for children with underlying diseases to be vaccinated.

However, only three children got shots on the first day.

The vaccines will be administered in three doses at intervals of eight weeks.
