Song Joong-ki Keeps Busy After Hit TV Series

Actor Song Joong-ki will appear in a new Netflix film, according to the global streaming platform on Tuesday. 

"My Name is Loh Kiwan" will keep him busy after wrapping up his latest hit TV series "Reborn Rich."

Director Kim Hee-jin's debut feature revolves around a North Korean defector who encounters a woman in Belgium while struggling to settle in and start a new life there.

Song will play the North Korean defector and rookie Choi Sung-eun the woman.

Last week, he surprised fans by marrying British actress Katy Louise Saunders and the two are expecting a child. They started dating sometime in 2021 after they appeared in tvN's hit series "Vincenzo," the story of an Italian lawyer and Mafia consigliere.

Song's work is keeping the newlyweds apart. Saunders is resting in their swish property in Itaewon, Seoul but Song's film will be shot mostly in Europe.
