Girl group Blackpink have added dates in Mexico and Australia to their ongoing world tour thanks to their soaring popularity.
Their management agency YG Entertainment said Wednesday that five concerts have been added -- one in Mexico City on April 26 and four in Australia, with two shows in Melbourne on June 10 and 11 and two in Sydney on June 16 and 17.

The quartet embarked on their world tour last October, starting in Seoul, and performed 24 shows in 14 cities in North America and Europe through last December.
In January, the girls met their fans in Hong Kong, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and they will continue the tour from March in seven other Asian countries, Australia and Mexico until June.
Blackpink will also perform as a headline act at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California in April and the British Summer Time Hyde Park in London in July.
