"Vibe," a collaboration single by Ji-min of Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, and Tae-yang of Big Bang, debuted at No. 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on Tuesday.
Billboard said the song racked up 4.2 million streams and 20,000 downloads in the U.S. to rank 76th on the chart.
With that, Ji-min has become the last of the seven boys to enter the Hot 100 as a solo artist, making BTS the first K-pop act to achieve the feat as a group and as individual members.
"Vibe," released on Jan. 13, is about the heart-fluttering feeling of being in love. The pairing of the two vocalists generated a lot of buzz for the single even before its release.
Earlier, the song debuted at No. 96 on the U.K.'s Official Singles Chart Top 100, one of the world's two major music charts along with the Billboard Hot 100.
BTS have topped the Hot 100 with six songs, from "Dynamite" in 2020 to "My Universe" in 2021.
J-Hope was the first member to make a solo entry with "Chicken Noodle Soup," which peaked at No. 81 in 2019, followed by Suga's "Daechwita" (No. 76) in 2020, V's "Christmas Tree" (No. 79) in 2022, Jung-kook's "Stay Alive" (No. 95), Jin's "The Astronaut" (No. 51) and RM's "Wild Flower" (No. 83).
