IU in Relationship with Actor Lee Jong-suk

Singer and actress IU is dating actor Lee Jong-suk.

IU admitted their relationship on Sunday after media reported the news.

She said she is in a relationship with a long-time colleague and friend whom she can rely on. "He is a cute and reliable man who has always supported me since we first got to know each other."

Lee's agency also confirmed the news, saying, "The two have long been friends and it was only recently that their friendship developed into romance."

They reportedly started dating some four months ago.

Since her singing debut as a teenager in 2008, IU has successfully branched out into acting as well. Last year, she drew huge crowds with her solo concerts in Seoul and her latest film, "Broker," was invited to the Cannes Film Festival.

Last Friday before the news came out, Lee hinted that he has someone precious in his life during his acceptance speech for a gong he won at MBC's year-end drama awards for his TV series "Big Mouth."
