Singer and actress IU has been picked as viewers' favorite model in commercials this year.
IU scored 9.4 percent in an online survey by the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation, which polled 2,000 consumers aged between 20 and 59.
Figure skating star Kim Yu-na came second with six percent, followed by comedian Yoo Jae-suk (5 percent), footballer Son Heung-min (4.5 percent) and actress Jeon Ji-hyun (4.3 percent).
Making her debut with an album in 2008 when she was still a teenager, IU has since branched out, and her latest film "Broker" was invited to this year's Cannes Film Festival.
