Boy band Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, took home two gongs at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. It is the fifth consecutive year that they have received an award at the AMAs.
The group won Favorite Pop Duo or Group and Favorite K-Pop Artist.
The AMAs are one of the premier pop music awards in the U.S. along with the Grammy Awards and the Billboard Music Awards.
Unlike the other two awards, the AMAs are awarded based on online voting for nominees in each category.

BTS won their first AMA, Favorite Social Artist, in 2018 and became the first K-pop act to win Artist of the Year, which is regarded as the top prize, last year.
This year, they were not nominated for Artist of the Year, but claimed Favorite Pop Duo or Group for the fourth straight year, collecting the most wins in the category since the awards show began in 1974. They beat global artists such as Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Maneskin and OneRepublic.
They also won Favorite K-pop Artist in the newly added category after competing with Blackpink, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together and TWICE.
