Korea's biggest game exhibition has returned to its pre-pandemic scale after three years.
The G-Star global game convention kicked off at BEXCO in Busan on Thursday and ends on Sunday.
This year, 987 companies from 43 countries are taking part, up 46.8 percent from 638 last year. They are running 2,947 booths -- more than double the 1,393 seen a year ago -- where gamers can try out their latest offerings.
It was held online due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and made its return as a regular face-to-face event last year but on a smaller scale.
Korean gaming giants like Nexon are back after four years away. Neowiz has also returned to the exhibition after an absence of 10 years.
Besides the main exhibition, there will be conferences attended by industry insiders, business networking opportunities and a game cosplay event.
