K-pop boy band NCT 127's first concert in Indonesia was cut short on Friday when at least 30 fans fainted in a crowd crush, according the Jakarta Post.
The accident comes just weeks after a deadly football stadium stampede in the Indonesian capital claimed more than 130 lives and hard on the heels of a Halloween stampede in Seoul's Itaewon that killed 156 people.
Friday's accident occurred when a group of audience in the standing area started surging forward to get closer to the stage and many fainted amid the chaos. Local media reported that more than 30 fans collapsed at the concert for which an audience of about 8,000 had gathered.

Just before the crush, the band were handing out freebies to the fans while performing "Paradise," a song from their debut album released in 2016. Some audience members at the back pushed toward the stage to get their hands on the merchandise.
Concert organizer Dyandra Global Entertainment said on social media that the concert was cut short for safety reasons and the accident happened unexpectedly near the end of the show. There was no report of severe injury or death.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Post reported a police investigation is underway after a "possible bomb threat" went viral on social media ahead of the concert, but the show went on as scheduled as police found nothing suspicious.
The boy band wrapped up the next day's concert without incident after adding more security and emergency personnel.
