Funerals for the victims of the Halloween stampede in Itaewon have been taking place around the country.
Out of 156 people who died in the crowd crush last weekend, the obsequies for some 128 victims were completed six days after the tragedy.
Of the 26 foreign victims from 14 countries, three from Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and Vietnam have been sent to their home countries but the rest are still waiting for their repatriation.
The government will provide W20 million in compensation and W15 million for funeral expenses to each of the victims (US$1=W1,424).
After the stampede, President Yoon Suk-yeol declared a week of national mourning which will last until this Saturday.
Memorial altars were set up in many places across the country, including Seoul City Hall and Itaewon, and many people have been paying tribute.
