Korea's formal suit for the national football team at the upcoming World Cup was unveiled on Thursday.

The KFA explained that the suit was provided by classic menswear brand Cambridge Members and the red stripes on the tie, resembling the number 11, stand for the "Korean heroes" who will compete at the football extravaganza for "the eleventh time."
Korea participated in the quadrennial event for the first time in 1954 although it failed to qualify for the tournament stage. This year, however, it will become the first Asian country to make a 10th consecutive appearance at the World Cup, having qualified for every event since 1986.
This year's event starts in Qatar next month and runs through late December. Korea's first match is on Nov. 24 against Uruguay.
