Boy band Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, have earned three nominations at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.
MTV announced Wednesday that BTS are up for Best K-pop, Biggest Fans and Best Metaverse Performance for "BTS Minecraft."
The boys won their first EMA awards in 2018 for Best Group and Biggest Fans, both of which they have won in each of the years since then.
In 2020 and 2021 they additionally won two more awards -- Best Song and Best Virtual Live in 2020 and Best Pop and Best K-pop in 2021 -- receiving four trophies in each of those years, the most among all artists.

For the Best K-pop award this year, BTS are competing with Blackpink, ITZY, Lisa, Seventeen and TWICE.
The MTV EMAs will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany on Nov. 13.
The boys are currently taking a break from each other after releasing the compilation album "Proof" on June 10 to celebrate the ninth anniversary of their debut. They will hold a concert in Busan on Saturday, which was organized by the southern port city to promote its bid to host the 2030 World Expo.
