Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur scored a hat trick in a home match against Leicester City last Saturday, finally ending his goal drought since the start of this season.
Son remained goalless for the first eight matches of the season, causing him to be dropped from the day's starting lineup for the first time in about 17 months since April 2021.

With Tottenham leading Leicester City 3-2 and needing extra goals to seal a win, Son came off the bench as a substitute in the 14th minute of the second half and scored his first goal of the season in the 73rd minute of the match.
His second goal came in the 84th minute and the third just two minutes later. It took just a dozen minutes for him to achieve his hat trick, helping Spurs to secure a 6-2 victory.

Son is now set to return to Seoul on Monday to join the Korean squad, which is due to play friendly matches against Costa Rica in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on Friday and Cameroon in Seoul next week.
