Where to Go for Traditional Chuseok Entertainments in Seoul

      A smorgasbord of events is scheduled during the upcoming Chuseok holiday in Seoul.
      According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Namsangol Hanok Village downtown will offer hands-on traditional activities for visitors to experience.
      Royal dances will be performed on Chuseok day (Sept. 10), while visitors can make rice cakes and arrows from Friday to Monday.  
      Visitors to Unhyeon Palace in Jongno will be able to play traditional games such as shuttlecock kicking, archery and lantern making.
      Museums in the neighborhood will offer lessons in traditional papercraft and macrame, while a flea market will open on Sunday and Monday.
      The city government is also calling 35,728 senior citizens who are incapable of moving around by themselves to check on their conditions and inform social workers if they cannot be contacted.
