Korea will play friendly matches against Costa Rica and Cameroon here next month, ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in November.
Both countries have also qualified for the quadrennial event.
In its last two friendlies at home in preparation for the event, Korea will face Costa Rica in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on Sept. 23 and Cameroon in Seoul on Sept. 27.
The Korean Football Association said Thursday that it will invite Uzbekistan to play against the two visiting countries, as they both want to play at least two matches each while in Korea.
Cameroon and Uzbekistan will play each other in Goyang on Sept. 23 prior to the friendly between Korea and Costa Rica. The date and venue for a match between Costa Rica and Uzbekistan will be announced later, the KFA said.
Korea remained at No. 28 in the latest FIFA world rankings released this month, with only a few international matches played since the previous rankings were released in June.
