Koreans can now use a digital version of their driving license on their phone.
The government on Thursday said that after a pilot run in Seoul and Daejeon since January, the mobile license is now available across the nation and has the same legal validity as the plastic card.
People can get it from every driving test center or police station.

The digital license can be used as ID at public offices, airports, and hospitals. It can also be used for banking services both online and offline.
The Financial Services Commission said that 13 banks are accepting the digital license at their branches, while four banks also do so for mobile services.
