Korea defeated Hong Kong 3-0 at the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) E-1 Football Championship in Toyota, Japan on Sunday.
Two goals from forward Kang Seong-jin and another from defender Hong Chul were enough to decide the game.
Kang, making his first start in an international match, scored first in the 17th minute. He made his international debut as a substitute in the second half of the championship opener against China last week.

In the 74th minute, Hong added another goal, his first in 44 appearances in international matches since joining the national team in 2011. Twelve minutes later, Kang sealed the victory with a diving header, netting a cross from Hong.
Korea, China, Hong Kong and Japan are competing in a round robin tournament for the championship title. Korea won in 2015, 2017 and 2019 and faces off against Japan on Wednesday.
Wednesday's match will be broadcast live by TV Chosun.
