Star golfer Lydia Ko is tying the knot this winter with Hyundai heir Chung Jun, the son of Hyundai Card vice chairman Chung Tae-young.
The couple began dating two years ago, and in August last year, Ko posted a selfie with Jun captioned "soon" and a love emoji on Instagram.
Ko was born in Seoul but moved to New Zealand with her parents when she was six. She is the fourth-ranked female pro golfer in the world.
The groom's maternal grandfather is ex-Hyundai chairman Chung Mong-koo.
Ko's father said, "I thought Lydia should get married in two or three years later since she's an active golfer right now, but she said she wants to marry sooner."
Their wedding ceremony will be at Myeongdong Cathedral on Dec. 30.
