Riverside pools in the Han River Park in Seoul have reopened for the first time in three years after being closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
There are six pools in the Han River Park -- in Gwangnaru, Jamwon, Nanji, Ttukseom, Yanghwa and Yeouido -- and they started welcoming visitors from last Friday.
The pools serve as cool -- and very affordable -- summer getaways in the city. Adults can enjoy a pool for around the price of a coffee at just W5,000 (US$1=W1,287). The admission fee is W4,000 for teenagers and W3,000 for children. Those under the age of 6 can visit them free of charge.

Although mask-wearing is not a must when people are outdoors, they are strongly advised to wear them, especially when areas get crowded. People should remember that masks have to be put back on when they are going inside to buy snacks or change their clothes.
The riverside attractions are open every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Aug. 21.
