IU Donates More Than W200 Million to Charity to Mark Birthday

Singer and actress IU donated W210 million to charity groups to mark her birthday on Monday (US$1=W1,285).

Her management agency posted donation certificates on Twitter, saying, "IU, along with her fans, wanted to celebrate her birthday by doing something special again." 

IU and her fan community have consistently made donations when there were occasions to celebrate.

This time they donated W100 million to Snail of Love, an organization for the hearing impaired, W50 million to the Korea Unwed Mothers Families' Association and W30 million each to two social welfare organizations.
