Users of Korea's No. 1 cryptocurrency exchange Upbit have donated W160 million worth of crypto assets to the Ukrainian government amid the Russian invasion (US$1=W1,220).
Some 902 users donated 1.59 Bitcoin and 22.75 Ethereum, which translates into an average donation of W180,000 per person based on their closing prices on Sunday.
Upbit said it will waive transaction fees worth W48 million.
