A planned meeting between President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol and his outgoing predecessor Moon Jae-in was canceled at the last minute amid bitter animosity between their camps.
The two were supposed to sit down for a private lunch at Cheong Wa Dae on Wednesday for the first time since Yoon was elected last week.

But on Wednesday morning, both sides abruptly said there were some snags in working-level negotiations ahead of the meeting and declined to elaborate further.
Cheong Wa Dae spokeswoman Park Kyung-mee said the meeting will be "rescheduled."
