Kim Yeon-koung has marked her return to the Chinese Volleyball Super League after an absence of four years by leading Shanghai Bright Ubest to victory.
Kim scored 17 points in the season opener against Liaoning Huajun in Jiangmen, Guangdong on Saturday to become the top scorer for Shanghai and help it secure a 3-0 win.
She also displayed excellent leadership, encouraging her teammates, who are seven to 17 years her junior, with big smiles and lots of applause.
Kim played for the same team previously in the 2017-18 season.
