The Genesis GV60, the luxury brand's first fully electric car, will be equipped with a face recognition system that will make it much harder to steal.
Drivers can open and close the car without a key, and fingerprint recognition will also be used to keep it safe.
Genesis' mid-size GV70 SUV, which was released last year, already has fingerprint recognition.

According to specs released by the automaker on Thursday, the face recognition works through a small camera mounted next to the driver seat window. The "near-infrared" camera can recognize faces clearly even in cloudy weather or at night.
The personal settings for seating and side mirrors will automatically adjust to the vehicle for up to two drivers.
The GV60 is slated for release later this year.
