Song by Rookie Girl Group Tops Major Music Chart

Girl group Aespa's song "Next Level" topped Korea's leading music streaming service Melon's chart on Tuesday.

It comes just eight months after their debut, a rare feat for such a rookie act. And it is also very impressive as the song even displaced Bangtan Boy's latest global hit song "Butter" from the top spot.

"Next Level" is a remake of a song of the same name that was featured on the soundtrack of the Hollywood action blockbuster "Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw" in 2019.
